These brass prototype pars are small .Some of holes need to be threaded ,we customized the tap tool in order to be the smaller thread .In the beginning ,it’s aluminum with anodized ,but due to aluminum is soft and light ,ultimately customer chooses brass instead .
Although the density of both brass and steel are 8.9 , brass machining is more easy comparing to steel machining ,We complete these 10 pieces once ,to put 10 brass original block together on the machine platform ,and fix them through by some fixtures ,before start running .the programming has been setting up well , and the cutting tools which will be essential are prepared ahead to mount,due to they don’t need to turnover milled .So they could be finished once .Very productive !
In fact ,when client is demanding on low volume production ,such as : 100 ,200 pieces ,the manufacturing method is also a good option and efficient .If you have brass machined parts to be made ,we can help with our precision machines ,regarding the quantity our production capability ,you had better send over the CAD model to us for checking , in most cases ,the quantity capability mains depending on the shape and size of part design .
