Description As Following:
This is a difficulty machined job,but for us it is easy ,before finding us ,this client has placed an order to other CNC Machined manufacturer who proceeded with,however,because this part is titanium 5 grade material and complex shape.Yes ,it is not simple to compare with most titanium parts,so the previous supplier was unsuccessful on it since lack of the experience of Titanium Machining Services.After the client found us and realized that we had vast skills and experience,he wanted to have a try with one prototype firstly .Our engineering expert team made a discussion and analysis to the CAD model and PDF drawing that client provided .In fact ,the most difficulty for machining this part is the thread tolerance of the biggest hole, and the tolerance of center-to-center spacing on other both big holes ,they have to be very tight .
The CNC programmer made a detail procedure sheet,and discussed with the machinists how to handle with whole production process,how to control the feed rate and cutting speed, and which type of cutting tools need to change when drilling the biggest hole,because there the thread tolerance needs to be very high. On the key position ,We must be very seriously with it ,because titanium material is expensive ,especially for such a big part ,once made a mistake ,probably the whole part will be discarded & unusable .It almost cost 36 hours to machine,After that,Our manual technician removed the burrs and polished the surface to be smooth.The client was very surprised after received the precision titanium machining prototype and gave us a great compliment.They ordered 12 units again.
